Genuine Pug Wind deflectors:

And the upper class door cards with lots of buttons and wood trim. Door cards are all round, though I only took photos of the front so you get the general idea. (Shame I can't make the buttons all work without ripping my wiring loom to shreds):

The door cards are not 100% what I wanted, I don't like the pattern of the trim that much, but it was either take them or nothing. At least the material is a close match to my interior in terms of the shade of grey it is. Doesn't look too out of place.

:arrowu: Nice one Bluey 8)

Bejesus, you should, by now, have enough spares to make yourself another 406 when this one runs out

Lets just say, if I thought it would be worth it, I could make a small fortune on Ebay selling all the spares.

I have the two original wingmirrors, looking pretty mint.
Original door cards in tip top condition.
Original Indicator repeaters
Spare D8 steering wheel and Airbag
And a few clips, bolts and screws.

Looking smart there chief :cheesy:

Did your previous door cards have no wood trim? Strange that, Pug putting wood on the dash but not the doors!

When I was a kid, I was over the moon when my Dad got his first Cavalier with wood on the doors! I'd like to think i've changed as I've grown but I haven't really :D

I have these fitted, albeit these ones as supplied by Octimex in Germany-identical in all respects, and I
cannot understand why you have them apparently stuck to the door.....they slot-in to the upper window slot, and the window then butts up to it,(it does mean that the actual window no longer goes right into the upper slot, which of course is now occupied by the wind shield). You have to bend it slightly to get it in,as they say,but once in its a tight fit and stays there.

Also... all the "wood trim" doors that I've seen come with a light on it. Has yours got one and is it wired in?

Thats how I found them on the donor 6. I'd never considered slotting them in. Now that you mention it. I will try that.

I know, has been doing so for some time. Bloody annoying.

I don't, but its next on my list.

Nope. Judging by the lack of silver trim on the outside of the V6 I got em from, the car was a 1996/7 edition. Ain't seen any 6 of that vintage with those lights (or chrome trime for that matter)

Right, just tried putting the wind deflectors into the door where the window sits. They fall right out.

Also, there doesn't appear to be much room as I can gear the glass rub against it. This trips the auto open on the drivers side (switch thinks some ones fingers are jammed in the window) and the passenger side struggles with the glass as it touches the deflector.

Has anyone seen a 406 with these on, or even the destructions for them?

As I said,I have a set of these (Octimex) in since last summer...very well fitting BUT as you say,it tends to auto trip on the rise;this is curable by stopping the window just short of the top and then rapidly flicking it up the remainder of the way until it meets the inside of the wind deflecter.
I havnt a clue how to get a jpg of the car up on here without going through the laborious procedure of opening an online photo account,so suffice to say that one of the 3 pics in the Garage section on this site in my username (the nearside shot) does show the deflecter in,although the car itself has had numerous modifications externally including alloys, since the pics were taken...also they had to be drastically re-sized down before I was allowed to upload them....perhaps thats been changed since because I would like to put more up to date pics up instead in a larger format.sorry for the ramble.
