Stealers price...

Post by adampv6 »

Just phoned my local dealer to find out how much labour would be to fit my new discs and pads.

Front £80 inc vat

Rear £160 inc vat

What the f*ck? He said thats going on the peugeot "hours" book. 2 hours to change the rears and 1 to change the front????

sounds right to me, the rears take longer as there more involved to change, also the rear calipers are often quite seized

What do Peugeot take us for, idiots?

If we had 450 quid to blow on just changing the brakes, i think we would be driving something more expensive than a 406 :x

Update

Post by adampv6 »

A little update now they've been fitted.

Didn't get the hoses and fluid done so it cost me a ton in the end from another garage.
