Let's face it Foggy, nobody will be happy until you've replaced your 406 with a newer 406.

I'd go for a 53/04 plate 'S' 110HDi with about 60K miles and get it remapped on the rapid 8)

The 'S' interior is ubber cool 8)

i would get a 54 plate 406 V6 manual exec estate with a DP engineering turbo conversion 8)

dont be put off by me, after all i only see the ones that go wrong, you just gotta be prepared that they are so much more expensive cars to keep on the road than our pugs, its not just reliability
for example, genuine pug pollen filter - arround £9 from the stealers - a V70 pollen filter from volvo - its £44!!! :shock:
see what i mean now :lol:
