full brake fluid change if rear cyliders have been done?

Post by pondweed »

service history says rear cylinders have been replaced recently. Wondering if this means I dont need to think about a full fluid change (which wouldnt otherwise have been done, ever)... or does it operate on two circuits?
(waiting for my haynes to arrive....!)

you can just bleed the rear brakes after changing the shoes, which doesnt mean the fluid was completley flushed, i would always do a brake fluid change once a year, it only costs about £15 in fluid and about an hours work
