Does your HDi have good days and bad?

Post by Welly »

My 110 felt slightly off-ish today on the way to work and felt no better later on too.

A drop in power, more Diesel clatter, and a 'dead' throttle response.

It's happened before and recovered all by itself with no ill effects and sometimes all within the same day.

I filled up with V-Power too

Does anyone else find their car has variable performance?

Mine isn't an HDi, but it's not a woman either. So no, every day is the same for my XUD :D

My D8 used to but the HDi has a beeper that tells me when I've left the handbrake on...

When I was driving one most of the days were pretty good I guess. All it needed was that one bad day when the cambelt snapped right out of the blue :cheesy:

....of course the "dead throttle response" was with me both good and bad days..(then again, I was driving the 90bhp model)

My electrics do.
Airbag light flashing (already wiggled the wires under the seat but it came back.)
Then last night I had the whole nine yards, airbag light, low fuel warning, fuel gauge not working and engine immobiliser light on all the time.
This morning fine.... French electrics eh....
