Why do sites linked from here throw me out?

Why do sites linked from here throw me out?

You know if I open up a link to another site I used to be able to close the site by pressing x :oops: and I would land back in here (where it's nice). But now in this new forum if I close the other site I also get thrown out of here :cry:

Pressing 'back' takes you back through their site first and then to here but that might take ages if you've been having a snoop around.

Am I a twat or what?

The links from this site don't open in new windows, they use the existing one. I'm sure there's something very clever and teknikal we could use to get round it but my low-tech solution is to right click the link and use "open in new tab/window".

Or hold down shift when clicking on a link

I have my browsers setup to open a new tab on middle-click... 8)

With my browser (good ol' seamonkey) on the ibook, you hold down the apple key and click a link to open it in a new tab :D

I shall have a wee look and see whats happening. I've never noticed to be honest - I always use the open in new tab in firefox..

It's what you all should be using anyways..

And use a 2 button mouse for the apple. Or cant you just hold in the mouse button for 0.5 secs for the right click menu to appear?
