F*ck me Puggy, what's with all the red stuff??!!

I'd imagine the refridgerant wouldn't run out, I'd have thought it would immediatly evaporate and go off ozone munching. Or am I mistaken (again)?

the red stuff is the rusted bracket that holds the pipes and was replced along
with them, the coolant contains a lubricant i believe and think that is what you can see :)

Puggy. Mine is wet on the top a/c pipe as in your picture.

Although I had a soaked stream from this pipe join where it is wet as your pic, the stream was excessive and all over the air filter housing pipe leading from the front grille.

It was very wet and excessive, so if coolant does also run in these along with a/c refrigerant, this is a large leak area I have.

hi pug ... no the engine coolant does not run through these pipes only
the a/c coolant... the a/c pipes you see come as a pair and run from there
under the battery tray under the brake servo to the bulkhead and cost me £300
to have em replaced at main stealers. Do think you need to have the head tested
to see if its that ..

CAN I MAKE A SUGGESTION..I RECENTLY CHANGED MY RADIATOR AND HAD GREAT DIFFICULTY GETTING THE BOTTOM HOSE OFF WHEN I DID I NOTICED THAT WATER WAS LEAKING FROM THE METAL PIPE (TRAVELS ACROSS THE FRONT OF THE PULLEYS)THAT GOES FROM THE BOTTOM HOSE TO THE BLOCK..DIFFICULT TO GET TO ..YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE FRONT NEAR SIDE WHEEL AND WHEEL ARCH INNER COVER ...MINE WAS SO RUSTY THAT IT HAD A LOT OF VERY SMALL HOLES IN
HOPE THIS HELPS
