Major oil leak...but i can't find it!!

My d8 1.9td has developed a considerable oil leak, but tracing it is proving difficult.
It seems to be coming from above the sump in the area in and around the steering pump, possibly higher up!!
Its a right old mess under there, so pin-pointing it is a nightmare.
Its a steady drip. . . .. ... .. .. .... .. .. . . . . . . ... ..

Any ideas??

hi it might be coming from the head had it before where the head gasket rots away and leeks out the back
