Stripping and rebuilding rear shoes

Post by locoboy »

I fitted a new rear section handbrake cable, disks and pads 12 months ago before its last MOT, it was a right Cnut of a job and hated every minute of it.

My handbrake has not worked properly since (well it didnt before either!) i am due MOT on 12th and need to get it sorted.

any tips or advice on stripping and rebuilding it so it works!?

If you do take the disks off you couldn't go far wrong in shoving a few dabs copper slip where necessary.
