Pretty ugly though aren't they, although I quite like the newest version. Will have to wait and see what the estate version of that looks like if and when it comes out. I've had a look at year old ones and the prices and specs were far from what I was expecting. Leather was a £750 option even on the Exclusive so there aren't many around with leather, and even the non-leather clad HDi Exclusives are up around the £15K mark :o , errrrm, for that kind of money I'd get the Pug 407 GT SW every time...

That would rather depend on how much stuff you intend carrying, the amount of times I've stuffed my Pug full I'd have to budget for the 407 SW plus a trailer...

The 1st C5s look very odd, the concave bonnet reminds me of a half-eaten choc-ice. My bro has the face-lifted one, well, he bought it 2nd hand 50/50 with our dad as a 3rd car junk shifter but my dad would rather drive it than his new Zafira CDTi 150 so he doesn't get to use it much. To me, the newest one is the only car in the Citroen line-up that actually looks good and the spec looks amazing, apart from the leather premium of course, then I think I've expressed my views on leather before - in case you missed it:- all the disadvantages of vinyl, plus you have to look after the bluddy things.

Btw my bro has a Bora as his main car (useless thing) with black leather, just after he bought it my nephiew put his hand on the seat after sunblocking his face and the hand print will be there for the life of the car.

I think it may look even better than the 407SW!

Bet the interior's the usual dire citroen mess though

I disagree, mine ALL have cream leather( I don't like the black) and with four dogs & two Grandchildren it's ideal.
The dog hairs don't weave into the seats & the chocolate, drinks etc. don't stain it, just a quick wipe with a damp cloth & "feed" it once a year.

Nah, leather's brilliant. Especially for someone like me that's usually covered in cat hair and sweats a lot;)

I don't clean my leather seats and don't need to, and they're really not as slippy as you'd think - at least not in jeans and a t-shirt ;)

Had it, it's ok but I wouldn't want it here, I like wearing shorts when it's pushing 40 degrees and I like skin on my legs too.

Pverty spec? It looks a mass of buttons to me but maybe they're all dummies :?

I never had that trouble in my cream leather tubby, but then again my idea of shorts involves almost covered knees and camouflage colours ;)

Compare it to the other interior pictures. Look at the size of the screen! ;)

Anyway, why is it heresy to not like leather? I can't see any point to saloon cars either...

Between me and my other half we have 3 dogs and 4 cats (with an option on a 5th if he isn't dead yet), we're both covered in pet hair all the time, her house gets hoovered every damn day but the cheap and crappy Pug velour doesn't hold onto it, it's just not a prob Bob.
