missing pug!!

Post by geebee »

hi i have a 406 hdi and its developed an intermitent miss. the only way i can describe it is when driving it feels like its been swithched off and on again very quickly. somedays it will do it several times others not at all. Also doesnt seem to matter where in the rev range it is. The car has done over 207k but is serviced when needed. so any one had the same problem :?:

Every time I see the thread title I'm expecting to read that one's been stolen. That's 4 much time on the 4X4 forums where vehicles are nocked to order...

It is clever when the car gives you a clue, but it would be cleverer if it fixed itself permanently, or didn't go wrong in the first place.

Reminds me of a friend who after having had the engine stolen from his VW (very easy to do) called the police to report his VW engine was missing, was told to call the RAA (Automobile Club) cos they don't much about how to fix a missing engine!
