Dash lights

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

I have also done the blue dash look but the led bulbs that you get are not that suitable for pug dashes so there are 2 things you can do.First is to scratch the end of the led bulb, this will difuse the light pattern and avoid the burn effect. The second is to buy off ebay, blue leds with the wires attached and place these inside the clocks. The effect is that you get blue dials and all the background in blue and its looks awesome at night.
And if like me you have a missus that also has a 6,you will be asked to make her dash glow Purple, which also looks great.

It''s just about pulling out the cluster, clock and air-con controls - The globes are just the twist type and come out with a small flathead screwdriver! It's not a hard job, just a process of assembly and reassembly - nothing too difficult.

Be very careful with them, they are fragile and with age will crack if not worked out gently!
