Hiya Thanks for all your help. but problems still there.... Sort off.

I have checked the turbo wistle. yes you can hear it when the car is running fine... also it works until the revs reach 2800 rpm then it shuts down. and the car will rev no more.

the fault of P0380 is there all the time and I am not too woried as the Engine management light is off with this code.

I have been running the car with the live diagnosics and the Throttle position senser is fine. when the cars in Limp mode. the MAF seems to be fine judging by the amount of air being the same at 2800 with the engine knackered and not knackered. the light always lights up just before it goes into limp mode. and the only fault stored apart from the P0380 Heater Plug is the P0903 code. Clutch actuator high.

Its getting on my nearves. is anyone in Newcastle available to help me diagnose the car. I want my HDi like my other one was. really quick off the mark and power to behold for towing scrap cars to the metal crusher.

not read the whole thread, but P0380 Heater Plug is normal and can be ignored! its fault in ecu or something, my hdi showed this fault code all the time i had it! nothing wrong with it thou.

Okay Managed to source a Cheap MAF from My Local Gear box Auto Parts for around the £45 car ran lovley and now the engine ECU light came one for a different reason.

LOL The Throtle Postition Sensor faulty. and then the speedo went off after I serviced it. LOL I am having loads of luck with this car. anyway found a petrol 406 and took the Throtle sensor different part number but who cares. works a treat. no eecu light. and new speedo sender.

Now all i have to do is the rear brakes see other post.
