Thanks guys. I think I will pop into a Pug dealer Monday to see what they say. I never realised that changing a set of wheels would be such a pain ! :frown:

Stil no closer to finding out about the D9s, however I would strongly suggest speaking to the guys at tyrespot.co.uk as they are up your way, more importantly they have a pic on their site of a D9 with those wheels on.
They're in Gateshead, I think.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately I live in London ! But yes I am a Geordy and Gateshead was my home town ! :)

steve_earwig wrote: does list it as a 9606XT, with size etc. 6.5 J15 CH4 - 18 (no idea what that last bit means!). *doffs dearstalker*
ok here comes the useless info
6.5j is the wheel width
15 is the wheel size
ch4 is the number of bolt holes
18 is the et i cant remember what that stands for but going on those mesurements i would say the wheels will fit a later pug 206

h have lost my deerstalker and pipe so if steve could doff his for me i'd be most grateful :) :)

18's the offset, I didn't know what the CH4 was tho (well, I thought something like that but as for CH :? ). I reckon he's best off talking to a BBS dealer. 206, 306/7?

Took a trip to the local Pug dealer. Parts guy was ace. They are 406 wheels no restrictions on models(excet coupe). He could`nt understand why the tyre place said that they were wrong for the car. Even came out to the car to check the rims that are atill in my boot. Have since bought some aftermarket ones from one of the links on the site as I could`nt be bothered with all the hassle. New wheels should arrive in the morning with tyres already fitted. So all I have to do is swap them over.So if anyone is interested in a set of rims pm me. They are listed as £525 a set at peugeot ! All I want is what I paid £189. Will put them on flea bay in a couple of days if no one is interested.

Cheers guys. :x

I will throw in my std rims as well. They have continentals fitted all round with really good tread. You could put them on the new rims so you would`nt need to buy new tyres ! Now that may make it more inviting ! :)

They look like nice, understated rims to me and definitely worth the price, the thing is what about this not clearing the calliper issue? Did the parts guy try them or anything? What did he reckon? (Apart from that your favourite tyre dealer's mad)

Btw I'd keep the steel rims & stick some winter tyres on them.

During the dry fit I could`nt see the problem. thats why I was confused The wires for the pads just needed to be pulled back. I can get them dry fitted again as I have a mate with a garage. So if anyone was sceptical as I was, a test could be carried out. Funnily enough my mate with the garage had asked what tyre fitter did the fitting on Saturday as the tyre shop is just round the corner and he uses them all the time. When I explained it was somebody I had never seen befor and that :) he sounded Europeon he just smiled and shuck his head !

Just had a E mail from someone who wants the tyres with the wheels. Reckons he is paying tomorrow via Pay pal. Fingers crossed.
