Bugger indeed :frown:

You just know that this problem will (hopefully) be a really silly easy fix but it's just finding it :x

Akchewlee Dai - sometimes manufacturers ECU's have a bit of a gremlin and they issue a software upgrade via the dealer to iron out stalling/jerking etc. it's a long shot but you could try asking a dealer if there ever was such a thing for your model ?? maybe with you doing your own servicing for so long you've missed out on something?

That's a point, I saw stuff like that while I was looking, I think it was on the Shitsumishi forums.

See if he knows what you're on about, I reckon if he just says "I'm not really sure but bring it along anyway, I'll hook it up to my box of tricks and I'll see what I can do" then I reckon you've got a 5% chance he'll make some sort of improvement, a 45% chance it won't make any difference and a 50% chance it'll be going home on a trailer  (this is Pug we're talking about...)

Did you ever manage to trace it to a particular cylinder (or two)? If not, is there a chance you can wait for it to start messing about, kill it and whip all the plugs out there and then?
