Puggy would have you disemboweled. You should have flashed him back.

Re: Is it right to flash "foggers"..
My car turns the fogs off on it's own after a preset time, accompanied by a audible chime. If you really need them you can turn them back on again. Good thinking I reckon! Only allows you to be a knob in half-hour stints
Does yours do that Puggy?

Oooh, so cruel yet so
Good idea though, save people wondering what the orange light on their dash means. Sadly for many peple it's just their brains that stop working automatically.

Here's one for you - does the 406 turn off the heated rear screen by itself like Ford's do after 7 minutes?
I've never left it on like this as I like to turn it off myself thank you very much.

No it doesn't , but when you stop and turn the engine off then on
it has been turned off . My cc a/c and fan do not work with just
the key turned to ignition you have to start the engine before
they will work, this the same for everyone ???

Do UK 406's come with foggies as standard? I know they didn't here - mine has them though!
Tonight it's pissing down with rain here in Sydney - Driving home along the Harbour Bridge there were so many w*nkers with their foggies on. There was no fog and the amount of dazzle was insane!
Tailgaiters may get a dose of the rear foglight....

Do I need to know if mine does it too

If so, how do I reconcile that with being the world No.1 fog light opponent

Imagine if someone saw mine lit

Still, there is Puggy to think about.....
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

I didn't have my V6 back then did I? I can get considerably lower now

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
