My 98 2.1 estate has covered 170,000 miles.
Still returns 45mpg but the emissions are creeping up with each mot.
Xantia with the same engine had covered 175 before it fell into a field

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
I passed 32,000 miles on mine last night
I've only had her since November, but I've done 2000-3000 miles.
The original owner lived in Glasgow, and probably only ever used it to drive to and from work (it was registered to Britannia Insurance).

2002 90 HDI LX
I have had mine for 3.5yrs, clocked over the 200k mark last weekend. The highest 'recordable' mileage I have had yet. My mondeo had 202k, but the clockometer stopped working at 198k
I expect to get another 25-50k before I change. Serviced every 12k,
Plan now, to upgrade it, mod wise.

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
My '99 HDi was ex-fleet with a FSH and 60K on the clock when we found each other back in '02. Since then I've added another 60k, and other than the usual lifex items and servicing, the car has only had to have a new ac condenser, clutch and lp fuel pump (£700 in total). Reading posts about the 110HP variant, seems that the 90 has fewer problems and even with 120K on the clock, will still easily do 55MPG at motorway speeds.

Why, oh, why did I sell my beloved 2.1TD at 145k?mjb wrote:I don't think there's many cars out there more reliable than a 406 with a 2.1tdGSB wrote:My beloved old 98 2.1td exec est is going strong on 203m.You'll be glad to know a few of those things have been spotted around the half million mile mark

PS. The moon is only 239,000 miles away!

Picking a 110 HDi with 61000 miles on the clock. I guess that has some life left in it yet. (I hope)
