No more servicebox?

Post by mjb »

I've just tried logging into servicebox (maybe to look up the detailed specifications from a certain coupe's vin) and it's giving me this error:
servicebox wrote:L'accès au site est réservé aux professionnels de la réparation
Doesn't look good :(

Same here with my own personal login. I was on it yesterday so hopefully it's just down for maintenance, although the translation below seems to suggest otherwise...

L'accès au site est réservé aux professionnels de la réparation = This site is reserved for professionals repair

Or 'The access to the site is reserved for the professionals of repairing' depending on which translation service you use

Had problems logging in at lunch. Searched the forum for links to the Honest John page with the, um, not so official logins and passwords. Took about five tries but eventually I got in.

It was probably just on a three hour lunch break, it's a French website after all...

It looks slightly different to me - there's more English for a start and I can't remember some of the stuff on the sections pics. Maybe they were upgrading it today (and putting the prices up of course)

Hmm, when I try to get my old username and password sent to me, it comes back as my email address is not registered with them. I'm going to try re-registering and see what happens.

Looks like we're going to be needing to make new accounts, which is a bugger since they messed up giving me a free day's access to the paid section (as it broke 5 mins into a 1hr access i paid for) and I ended up with permanent access to the good stuff

Same as mine.

Doesn't look like private users are supposed to have access anymore, all we get now is the normal handbook. So anyway, did I mention that I've recently become a professional mechanic....

I've almost re-registered now, but I need an intra-community VAT code. Any ideas what one looks like so I can make one up? I've been looking on google but it's not being all that much help to be honest...

It's probably just a normal VAT number; try one from a petrol receipt!
