I have seen that, it looks like a squashed up nose and a very big rear end.

Car designers are being pushed to make them pedestrian friendly but I'm not sure it helps with the overall look - I suppose we'll get used to it :|

EWW!

Has that thing had a frontal impact? The front looks about 2 foot too short!

I like the quoted 0-60 time, but I'd rather be seen doing that in a V8 smart than that hideous thing! I thought pugs were supposed to be the classy ones compared to the crazy Citroens, but they seem to have done an about-turn recently. The new C5 is simply gorgeous but look at Peugeot's latest efforts - especially that 4007(?) SUV thing!

The 4007 is a japanese car. Don't think it was intended to be one of Peugeots great designs. They had to style with a certain template to comply with Manufacturers spcification. Heres a Mitsubishi Outlander, which is what the 4007 is based on.

And as for the 408, the pictures are crap so we can't really judge. I thought the 407 was minging when it first came out but it grew on me very quickly 8)

Sorry for keeping you all in suspense....

So £4000 for the 407 against an 04 BMW 330d.

That equates to roughly £104 per week deprecation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feck.

Keep it for a couple more years - the extra depreciation will be insignificant compared to what you're looking at now.
(Saw one on Autotrader for sale privately, 39k, £5,200 ono so I guess thier offer's 'in the ballpark', galling thing is whatever they're asking for the BMW's probably 30% more than they paid for it)....

2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

That's just taking the pi$$, the recession works both ways - if your car's worth less so is his.

Just checked pictures for the 408 and it looks stunning in my eyes. Much better than the 407. I was never quite about the 407 really. The '6 coop is the best design by far.

And to answer the topic's question - had 1 but picking up 2nd on Saturday 8)
