It was P0136 - O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2). Any ideas fellas? I was wondering if that could have anything to do with lots of short fast journeys in the torrential rain on Thursday when it sarted? Maybe a damp connection? Did I hear something about wet air filters the other day?
Cleared it and it hasn't come back anyway....
Also my mate with the C4 has been and you'll never guess what code he had
Ok actually he had 3 but one of them was P0136 He's working where I used to work, doing my old job, driving a french car with one headlight out and even having the same fault codes, this is all very worrying......
Anyway I reset his too and they haven't come back either... yet

Hmmmm,, very very wet again today and the message & light are back. Almost identical situation to last time, blasted home from work in the p'ing rain, nipped home to change, went to the outlaws to pick my boy up, took him to Shotokan, all fine. Got in the car to come home from the leisure centre (car's been stood for an hour and a bit) and there's the message & light.
Gotta conclude something's getting wet
So anyone know where to look for "O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)"? Where should I point the WD40?

It's gone again . 'Twas a bright clear morning in the valleys and I was disappointed to find the light still on when I left for work. But as soon as the engine warmed up I turned it off and on again, and hey presto the light was gone! It's been fine all day, but me pug's obviously developing a disliking for excessive water
