Microsoft word help pretty please.....??

Post by Welly »

You know when your in Word and you click on 'File' in the top left corner it normally shows you about 4 of your last documents in a kinda quick access list but mine has stopped doing this for some reason (operator error alert!) does anyone know how to retrieve this rather natty function?

Click on "Tools" then "Options", on the "General" tab you'll see "Recently Used File List" and you can set the number of entries you want to show.

I thought the proper term for an - operator not very good error, was - computer user none technical

I should point out at this juncture, that any sensible computer user, technical or none :supafrisk: , would be much better off using Open Office.
It does everything that M$ Office does, it'll open ALL M$ Office documents, to edit to your hearts content.
It'll also save any documents into M$ format, so you can send it to some other poor unenlightened person   :P .
Best of all, it comes at an unbeatable price    .
