Tensioner and idler

Post by Pob »

Hi all,

I need to replace the Aux drive belt and possibly the tensioner or idler pulley needs replacing. Can the pulley be bought on thier own? I.e without the whole tensioner assembly? Are these avalible from Motorfactors or dealer only? Oh I have a 2.0 16v

Thanks,
Dan

Hi,

I bought a new idler pulley £19 and used the pulley off a tensioner I no longer needed off a turbo engine I have. No more grinding noise :)

Thanks,
Dan
