I thought wood trim was on GLX and upwards.

I can confirm my LX has wood (does that sound... wrong... to anyone else ...?)

My brother said it makes the car look like a gentlemans' club. But then, he drives a Punto ...

The French guy that bought my Exec said the wood trim looked "sheet" but also confirmed that French car makers were not the best at the old "looks like wood" type plastic type thing.

If you look at the later S and SE trim 03/04 plates they all have a dark grey trim which is nice.

I would prefer it without wood... It looks grandaddy enough without wood to compliment the tweed seats....

My LX had wood on the dash, but not the doors. I had it painted as the faux wood looks really cheesy.

I've seen them in all combinations but never with no 'trim' at all??????

Also spotted..... black door handles? This really must be a base model????

Also.. also... I like a nice bit of faux walnut! :D

haha yeah my rapier has the black wood trim on the dash and doors and my old rapier had walnut just on the dash but ive been looking at a lot of SRI's (im thinking of upgrading) and i dont know what it is in some pictures it looks like grey plastic and in some it looks like a carbon fibre rip-off i agree it does look nice with the wood it breaks the dashboard up and yes its very basic! i believe the frech only had 3 models the S, Se and SV or somthing like that similar to the 407 line up im not 100% though! my old rapier had sod all spec too i wasnt going to buy it but because it was a low mileage HDi i couldnt refuse! it had no fogs, black handles and mirrors analogue air con wheel trims and no chrome trim on the door mouldings and HORRIBLE! pale grey cheap postbag fabric seats, great car though!

Well... I certainly don't like the fake walnut. It does look cheap. On the other hand, the interior in the ebay ad looked a bit... bland?

The 'wood' may be nasty but it does give it a little bit of flavour. I wonder if I could get a local chippy to make up real walnut trim...

theres no reason why not they already have the pattern if you give them your "peugeot wood" i think it would look good! perhaps get something nice inlayed on it!
