406 headlights

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

406 headlights

Post by Pob »

Hi,

I don't know if this has been covered before, I've done a quick search but didn't show up nothing. The light pattern seems to be all over the place on my 406... The main pattern of the beam is there, but there seems to be high bits of the beam if that makes any sense....

I had a similar problem after swapping some bulbs around - eventually discovered I had disturbed the shield, (which should prevent direct glare from te filament). One of my dip bulbs was actually beside rather than behind it. The result was a large chunk on the beam missing and some odd bits of stray light upwards and sideways.
