Just to update:

1) Indicator stalk is broken - replaced with the "no-front-fog-switch" version. Need to send the other one to teamy.. still
2) Driver side rear door's central locking works only sometimes - a bit of WD40 to sort it?
3) Clanging and knocking whenever I drive over any bump, so all the time. Anti-roll bars/links... I think
4) Washed my car over the weekend - wishing I hadn't as I found about a billion supermarket trolley knocks/scratches/bumps/scuffs
5) Rear disks "pitted"
But number 3 is the most annoying one :frown:

Get it in the post CJ!
There's a plethora of causes for the knocking; anti-rollbar bushes, drop links, top links and bottom engine mount. I've replaced all bar the bottom mount (which is knackered!) and it's pretty much cured the knocks.

Guess I should update this for the new car...

1. Leak from somewhere
2. Spongy brakes. Think I need to change the brake fluid but all I can find is Halfrauds own-brand.
3. Mats. I need some!
4. T-cut. I still need some! Looks like someone's taken gardening tools to the bootlid
5. Could do with slightly less ditchfinderesque tyres at the front
6. Need to de-sensitise the variable power steering
7. Still want to do my custom trip computer project
8. Couple of the mudflaps are hanging off. Dunno whether to look into replacing them or just rip 'em all off. I think they look quite good though

There doesn't seem much point in spending a fortune, they frey and look rubbish sooner or later whateven you buy. I got some dead cheap rubber ones for winter and I'll get some cheap carpet ones for summer.

Ditto but, like the Maltesers, they don't sell it here and I've yet to find something similar :frown:

I hate rubber ones - get a bit of water on your shoes and your heel's flying about everywhere...

Cheap mats do wear out quickly, but my tubby got to around 140k on a genuine pug one. Not sure they're worth £60/set though

Rubber mats for those lovely winter months, the bigger the better: I didn't have any problems of my feet slipping about but I did have a problem of treading masses of snow in on my boots!

60 quid?????????????????????????????????????????? I'll stick to my 10 quid chuckables, ta muchly :cheesy: In fact, Lidl are selling some for 65Kn (7 quid) tomorrow, shall I get you a set? ("folders" on standby...)

Well have had my pug for nearly 2yrs now and still really pleased
with it ,whats gone wrong and what needs doing ???
well the a/c is not working but as i inherited that fault and will soon
be getting to the bottom of it i wont count it.

i stupidly had the bottom pulley and cambelt done to find out they had
already been changed duh !!! so discount those.

its had a in tank fuel pump ,air dozer, front pads, bottom intercooler pipe ,wiper blades.

it needs ,rear pads discs and handbrake shoes they being done next week,so is oil change,
could do with air filter and fuel filter and maybe an intercooler.and maybe a second re-map :)
and heater blower still not working even though been changed so looks like auto electrician
to find the break :(
.. ooh are those drugs for me Matron

Just thought I'd add to this one while I'm passing through...

D9:
Radio buggered (my own fault  )
Clutch juddering in reverse (mountings seem ok, dmf?)
Rattling from injectors now constant and loud.
Oil leak from turbo
Indicators sometimes go from right to left while turning the wheel left, no sign of floppyness though.
Latest: Fuel gauge gradually drops to zero, low fuel warning, light on dash. Then it goes up to half a tank and drops in the usual manner (again  )

D8:
Not one single call, despite being the cheapest D8 diesel estate in all the on-line ads.

Thoughts: Flog D9 before it gets even worse, trade D8 in for something a little less problematic...

How long have you been trying to sell that thing?

Very annoying problem - my fuel tank is almost empty. I once read somewhere that paying for more diesel solves this one, but I really don't know if I fancy shelling out 60+ quid.

About 3 weeks now. I don't really want to give it away free, the price is stupid I'll admit but it's cheaper than the others that I can find - the closest I can come up with is a '99, with not quite so many miles but less toys for 1,000€ more.

Not sure if you're joking but maybe my post's not too clear - fill her up, full tank, needle gradually drops to empty as the kilometers pass in the usual manner. Then, when I'm thinking it's about time to fill up again, I suddenly have half a tank and am able to drive for another 300 or so kilometers before I really need to fill up (or do I?). It's happened twice now. Maybe I should carry a can of diesel about, just in case...

Don't worry Steve, I just meant I'm out of jungle juice and I can't be arsed to go buy any more ^^

Actually, on a serious note (for once), you all remember my diesel line was sucking air and draining over night? Well, those nanobots I put in the tank must have worked because the problem just suddenly stopped :supafrisk:

My com 2000 is still dodgy, in fact the left indicator's been doing whatever it likes the last couple of days, I'm putting it down to the hot weather :o (Funny ain't it, you see a PSA car indicating (or not!) randomly and most people think "Tw@!", but other PSA drivers think "ahhhh, com 2000".)

Rear brakes could do with some attention.

Other than that it's just stinking and needs a damn good clean, might even have to get a clay bar after seeing Welly's fred  , damn you man, making me spend my hard-earned.... :frown:

Me likey my pug! 8)

Replace start motor
Fix or replace top air hose
Adjust hand brake
Change side light bulb :cheesy:

Dash lights missing (care of pikey trader)
Clock in dash isn't illuminated
Instrument cluster has a mind of it's own
