Peugeot victory at last?

Post by Doggy »

Anyone else following Le Mans 24h?

Looks like Peugeot should pull it off this year 8)
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Wow. 908 HDI way ahead of the Mazda and even Ferrari and Corvette. Is this a function of endurance, i.e. less fuelling stops? I know sweet FA about Le Mans.

[EDIT]

Eek!

According to Wikipedia, Pug are experimenting putting the V12 out of this thing in to a saloon

Seconded. Although white trews do remind me rather uncomfortably of Bodyform commercials >.<
