Kent Newbie

Post by Johnny »

Hi guys,

My name is John, and (dare i say it) I'm actually a blue oval man. However i'm working on a new engine conversion project for my fiesta ZS, which should hopefully be on the road by mid 2010  .

As i needed a daily runner I went completely mad (or so i thought) and bought an S-Reg 406 TD estate, and am impressed to say the least :cheesy: I've had it nearly a month and its running fine, bearing in mind i paid £600 for it, which with 12 months MOT and 6months tax was a bargain. Also being the first diesel I've driven ( I'm only 21) i'm still shocked at how much money i'm saving on the derv.

I've been having a browse through some of the owners cars on here and am liking some of the styling etc going on plus some of the engine work, much to say my plan of getting rid of the pug once the fiesta is finished has been quickly thrown out the window, as its an underrated car!! I've got a couple of minor issues with the 406 but will have a look round to see if i can find my answers, but always like to say hello before i randomly start posting :)

...and another one! It's not the first time we've seen people buying 406s as a temporary car then refusing to part with them :cheesy:
