daft question but will my 97 lx have abs not got no handbook with car..Rob

Probably. Look for abs unit (big square silver thing with pipes near master cylinder) and light on dash when you turn the ignition on.

Thanks very much Steve Had noticed the light but didnt know what it was doesnt have abs inthe light as some cars have .Ihave never had a car with abs on before ...Rob.

My '97 1.8LX didn't have ABS, I think it was only the 2litre and above that had it (along with discs on the rear)
