It would be appear someone has "disabled" the MIL light on the dash ;)

Curiousity got the better off me and I plugged my ELM323 and Scanmaster Freeware and it picked up MIL on and P0220.

TPS/ pedal position sensor/ Switch b circuit malfunction

I can delete it no problem, but as soon as I start the engine it re-appears.

Seen on the net the " mod on the MAF sensor's earth" mentioned?

What is this?
His: 1990 Volkswagen Golf II 1.8 GTi 8v.
Hers: 2000 "W" 406 Estate GLX HDi 90 (Bosch) @ 150k
