I've also found that as your friend list grows your ability to rant freely diminishes. I've now got a couple of born again Christians, a well respected uncle and the wife on there, so all bad language, blasphemy and general talk of wimin has ceased....

As an aside, you lot should've seen the tits on the blonde bird I had a meeting with today Christ, they were f*cking enormous!

a very similair thing happened to me just before last xmas on facebook . my supervisor gave me a massive bollocking in front of all the passengers on my bus cos he thought i done wrong when i hadnt . i had to keep my mouth shut or i know i would have hit him or something but my anger hadnt subdued by the time i got home so had my rant on facebook . it went something along the lines of calling him a fat f*cking gary glitter look-a-like and if i saw him out in the pub i would probably glass him .
i forgot one of my other supervisors was one my friends list and he took the time to print it off and send it to my area manager who promtly had me in the office and much to mine and the union reps surprise sacked me for bringing the company into disrepute . luckily enough i had a clean record and the regional head of the GMB managed to get my job back after threatening them with a tribuneral but not without a final written warning and 3 weeks loss of wages

i still think my supervisor is a fat gary glitter look-a-like tho

Just for reference, if you go into the privacy settings on facebook, there's a setting where you can disclude certain friends from seeing your status (e.g bosses & busybodies in work).
