Does anyone know how to remove the plenum from a v6 engine? Is it difficult to do? I am quite competant with a socket set, so as long as its not rocket science, I should be ok.
Also, where is the starter motor? Cant seen to see/find it.
Thanks in advance

Re: Plenum
You mean the intake manifold? Which engine is it - 194bhp ES9J4 or 210bhp ES9J4S?
The starter is mounted behind the radiator near the oil filter

Remove the rubber air intake pipe from the throttle body, remove the ICV, detach the throttle cable and cruise control actuator, disconnect EVERYTHING electrical including the MAP sensor, and unbolt. If there's any other pipes, remove them.
I'm due to do this myself, but time hasn't been on my side. You will also NEED a new inlet manifold gasket. If you decide to take the throttle body off, you'll need a new gasket for that too. The gaskets are dealer only.
