new purchase
hi all, just got my 406 diesel turbo estate 99 on an s plate and very pleased with it apart from a few things , the engine cooling fans run all the time the ignition is on at full speed . there is quite a bit of engine vibration / harshness at anything over 3,000 rpm , its the old engine not the hdi any body got any answers , thanks in advance
Re: new purchase
Hi there.
I suspect both your problems are down to a faulty/unplugged coolant temperature sensor. You didn't say which HDi you've got, but it should be somewhere near the thermostat housing, usually with a green or brown connector
