Genuine HDI crankshaft pulley?

Post by Matt »

I've been supplied a crankshaft pulley, claiming to be OEM but it is not the same design as the one i have on my car and the other pictures i have seen, the one i've received has no slots on the side, it seems to be solid, the thinner ring is made of rubber the only marking on it is C 09/08 not the 0515v6 i was expecting

Here is a pic

is there anyway to tell if its genuine, is there more than 1 design for these, reckon i should just whack it on to the car and see how it goes...I'm tempted to do that

its from ebay lofty, one of the big parts shops, with good feedback, i've had some of their other service stuff and its all been good, i think my main worry is that its not the correct one for the car, why?

I only asked because i won a "genuine" HDI crank pulley from a citroen main dealer (citroendorset on eBay) and its exactly the same as you picture. No pug or even citroen stamps on it, or even the 515v6 part number either. The dealer supplied with a parts invoice with 515v6 on it, so i imagine mine like yours is genuine.

Either way, it fits ok and solved most of my rattling noises!
