Scrapping N reg Executive.
I will shortly be scrapping my executive with a full black leather interior with electric memory seats in very good condition.
The only thing wrong with the interior is the drivers seat swivelling armrest which has part of the plastic fitting that is in the side of the seat broken.
The armrest still swivels and stops in position but gradually works its way out.
As the car is going on the scrappage scheme I would ideally like someone to swop the interior over for their interior plus cash of course so that the car is still driveable.
The car has all of the usual executive extras including a 6 cd autochanger in the boot.
I am open to offers on anything that is removable while keeping the car mobile.

what colour is the car? (I may be interested in a bonnet swap)
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Re: Scrapping N reg Executive.
I'm looking for an offside rear ABS sensor and if your front discs and pads are in reasonable nick I'd take them too (assuming the car runs the 283mm discs).
Give me a shout back.
Cheers

Re: Scrapping N reg Executive.
On the boot lid hinges on the D9, there is a plastic piece that clips on to the metal of the hinge itself. I've got the left-side one, but the right-side one is missing, has been since I got the car.
If the D8 one is the same as the D9, could I have the plastic bit off the right-side boot lid hinge?

hi,
replying to stephenlizuk and highlander.
As I stated the car has to be left mobile as it is going to be scrapped for the scrappage scheme a week today.
The plastic hinge cover is only on one side as this cover has the cables in it for the boot lid electrics.
I have taken out the 6 cd changer from the boot now if anybody is interested.
I have had this car for 2 years now and it has been a good car.
The only things that went wrong were the immobiliser wiring that burnt out.I fixed it for £15 and the blower control module that I have bodged so that I have full blower all of the time at no cost.
There is no rust on the body anywhere,it drives well and is very comfortable. The leather interior is really nice and I feel that it is a shame that it going to be crushed although the dealer gave me £2250 for it against a new car.
