A CHANGE TO GERMAN

Post by rapport25 »

The time has finally come to say good bye to my oh so faithfull pug    . I have decided on my new car and the clue is in the title.

I feel a christmas quiz coming on!!!!!. Whoever guesses right gets my pug

Also any ideas what my 406 would fetch? Those that dont know me 2000 V reg. Excellent condition for year. Inside standard apart from uprated chrome gear knob and rear blind. External mods black inserts colour coded silver the same as the car. Bmw type rear lip spoiler/oval exhaust trim/ xennon bulb upgrade to the front. including fogs side dip and main beam/ Blingy front grill upper and lower  Superchipped/ uprated stage 2 clutch and flywheel. produces around 150bhp. 0 to 60 in a little over 8secs. zero lag, turbo all the way to 120mph :cheesy: . Drvies like a V6 pullls so so smooth all the way to 120mph. And the clutch is super light. Mpg is excellent the best I have ever acheived is 54.5 mpg that is a combined cycle. If I use the extra power mpg never drops below 45.4 mpg. Full service history loads of receipts. Have owned the car for over 6 years.

Many Thanks Rappy 8) Happy christmas to everyone :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

Seeing as the bulk of 'German' cars, including most Porkers, 3 series Bimmers, many Audis, Veedbub polos, Passats and a smattering or mercs aren't actually made in Germany any more (and VWs main shareholder is not German either) getting a genuine bona fide Ger-her-man motor is not especially easy these days.

I'm gussing on a 530d.

Price wise on the 406 I'd say £900.00 to 1200.00??? (I got £1100.00 for my 1999 exec)

Cheers Rappy.

I'm guessing on a Golf, seeing as they're still actually made in Germany.
