Things to do
So, after my nightmare with the bottom mount, I still have the following things to replace/repair:
1) Master clutch cylinder - already have it, just need to get off my arse to do it. Space seems limited, so hope it doesn't turn into another "bottom mount"
2) Flexi-hose pipe / Cat - grr... costs more than I can currently afford, but will need to do it as it smells in the car if I am not moving. Will get rid of the low rev grumbling noise too
3) Glow plug relay - works, but one wire is loose. More expense.
4) A damn good scrub!

Re: Things to do
S'funny (no it's not really) but through 3 years of no-one mentioning these things the FIRST thing I'd say to anyone now with a HDi is "check the bottom mount and the eggsauce flexi" - seems to be a bit of a theme now.

Re: Things to do
Need to do (restoration):
1) Sort out the exhaust leak
2) Sort out the passenger-side electric window (doesn't work; drivers' one does)
3) Replace the exterior temperature sensor
4) Get the scratches removed from the front bumper (scraped it off a rock in the dark)
5) Replace the rubber stoppers on the boot lid (boot lid bangs off the rear bumper)
Want to do (improvement):
1) Leather interior (seats, door cards, steering wheel)
2) Tighter suspension
3) Stainless steel exhaust
4) Induction kit (not just a cone filter, but something with a good cold air feed)
5) Stalk & MFD adapter for my Sony stereo

Re: Things to do
For me on the 407...
1) Fit induction kit. i've had it several months and not yet bothered.
2) Fit uber rare SP pedals. Ditto.
For the FZR600 3HE7...
1) Everything. I'm mid way through a full rebuild. Have a peek http://fzronline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4494
For the 99 R6...
1) New tyres.
2) New sprockets and chain.
3) New front seat.
Then buy an 86-88 FZ600 so I have a full set of Yam middleweights.
Then a shed so I can clear the garage and get an FZR400, 750 and 1000 so I have a full set of Fizzers as well.
These darstardly plans will doubtless take a few years to reach fruition

Looks the same sort of state my TDM's in just now (and will be until I have some cash to order some more parts). At least bikes don't take up so much roomturbolag wrote:Then buy an 86-88 FZ600 so I have a full set of Yam middleweights.
