Care of our golden retards, my wife needs another mobile phone:
It was a nice phone too, which is funny 'cos they never seem to want to play with my antique. Ah well, this one lasted just over a year (guess what happened to the last one )
She's being philosophical about it - we have to be It was probably a joint effort by them and the kitten, who just loves knocking stuff on the floor. Once there it's fair game for the dogs who chew anything. The other cat knocks stuff on the floor too but I have a feeling he does it to stop them chasing him "here, play with that instead, stupid." So, that's two mobile phones, one cordless phone, two pairs of glasses, three pairs of sunglasses, two dustpans, about 6 brushes, about 12 pairs of shoes, one screwdriver and countless items of clothing (which they snag off radiators on their way past). Not to mention countless plants in the garden and hundreds of flyers and free newspapers which the idiots just push through the gate.
They managed to scratch glass? Ours aren't in the car long enough, just to the vet's and back. They seem to have stopped chewing the walls in the house now but it'll still need repainting to get rid of the mud they've managed to spray everywhere. It's a shame I can't do that now as I'm bored but it wouldn't last long.

It would be nice but after the postage and duties... easier to get a pre-paid one again.
My mum's old dog destroyed the remote control for their previous television; he liked to take things and run away from whoever tried to get them back. His piece de resistance was to steal my granny's Snickers bar and eat it - yet she hadn't opened it...
The dog she used to have before that used to steal vegetables - at one point, he nicked a whole cooking onion, took it outside and ate it in the garden. Silly bugger.
Mum's cats have all happily inhabited a carry basket that was basically a hoop of clear perspex over an opaque plastic base, with two opaque plastic doors at either end (vented, of course), whenever they were going to/from the vet. All previous cats were quite happy to sit in it, as they could see out, and not feel too restricted, as it was fairly spacious.
Her current cat, now nearly 16 years old, didn't like that thing one little bit. When he was much younger, he tore his way out of it with his front claws, completely destroying one of the doors (reduced it to little brown plastic fragments). He now has a standard hard-plastic cat basket with coated wire mesh at one end. Doesn't like it much either, but it's a lot more durable.
