Re: 2.2hdi estate exhaust back box
According to ServiceBox & most pattern suupliers, no - they're different. (They look the same, so it's hard to see what difference there could be). ServiceBox DOES list the same one for 2.2's and 2.0 HDi 110's with particle filter, but it's doubtful whether any of these cars really exist.
I got an OE one from http://www.thepeugeotshop.co.uk/ on special offer for about £95 delivered, figuring that the original had lasted 7 years, so this would see it out. The other end of the scale is http://www.onlineautomotive.co.uk/ who do one for about £33, but expect to do it again in a year or two. Some on eBay too.

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

i think the diffrence is in the diamanter of the exhaust pipe as all the mounts can be swappeddogslife wrote:According to ServiceBox & most pattern suupliers, no - they're different. Re: 2.2hdi estate exhaust back box
thanks for the info guys, and for the site links omega.
looks like after market parts have the second bracket welded to the side of the muffler, where as OE looks like the bracket is a band around it. Like you say omega, one will last a couple of years....

Or you could go all offensive with the stainless steel one which will outlast the car.
