fog lamps

Post by kerryhosz »

I again need help. Has anyone out there ever changed the fog lamp bulbs on a 406 estate. I am trying and have the scraped knuckles to prove. Is there an easy way to replace bulbs

D8 or D9? If it's a D8, then the there's a clip on the back of the foglight, pry this up with a screwdriver (it'll pivot up or downwards) take the back cover off and replace the bulb. Refitting is reversal of removal.

On a D9 (Saloon, but I imagine it's much the same on an estate) you need to remoev the small plastic panel in front of the front tyre. Torx screws here. Then you reach up and twist the connector to remove the bulb. Might be a plastic cover or something here, but not on mine
