estate rear black bumper moulding repairs

Some kind person has backed into my estate and hit the black moulding on the top of the bumper valance. the damage amounts to some distortion, not split at all, has anyone any knowlegde or experience of repairing these, I assume damage is repairable with heat and some filler? Any help most appreciated I dont really want to remove the entire rear bumper section and shell out for a new moulding too.

There's been some brand new estate rear bumper mouldings on eBay for a while now! Maybe worth having a quick search on there?

Thanks, bit pricey is the prob, £79.00 and being tight I was hoping to repair the original :-)
