For selling info the guys on the Coupe Club forums basically wrote ... not his fault, I guess he didn't know where the eBay seller likely got the info from.
They're also saying that the point behind the CC forum is to share info for free.
No offense to no2lurch himself, but I kind of agree; if I had to pay a quid for all the information I've found useful on this forum, I'd be a lot worse off financially

Thats about the size of it alright. They didn't take too kindly over there at all!! It seems innocent enough though. I doubt he realised how pissed of they would get. I too can see how they would be pissed. Note to self: dont sell info on the internet

Do the coupe site reckon that the info that was purchased was originally pinched off their site??
Are they charging for the info or is it freely avaiable inthe format that was on Ebay???
I dont mind paying a £1 to someone whos taken the risk of paying out for what could have been a load of crap??
£1 per shot is definitely going to make no-one a millionaire!
I started this post off and am feeleing a bit guilty but quite happy to give someone on the other site some grief if need be after all they are Coupe owners!!!!
Im sure no2lurch has some top quality instructions to hand. I couldnt find anything on the coupe forum other than that paragraph wiggy was on about. I dont think the issue with them is that they already have the info. I think its because they are being charged for the info on fixing the window switch. On the coupe forum (and on here) we give and recieve information for free!! Charging for this kind of goes against the grain of the purpose of either forum. And also, coupe club have a full membership. If I paid the full membership, I wouldnt be too happy paying more for info!!

as far as i know as a newbie.dont waste your money if its mechanical its going to be one of two things;1st if you are brave enough to open the unit in your kitchen you will find under the switches are little plastic lugs mine are white, that work the rocker switches,
mine had fallen out, found all three !!!!!.
then made no 4 from an old guitar plectrum(thick plastic) clicks now.
2nd If the inside of the single switches are worn its highly unlikely you will get these seperate.
Went to the scrappers today and he had 3 drivers door 4 way plus mirror switches. Bought all 3 for £5 as they didnt work on drivers window and he was going to chuck them and raided bits off each and made 2 from the 3. They work great and as per the previous post the only dodgy bit is separating the back off and knowing where the little plastic lugs go back.
