TRIP COMPUTER IN A TD D8

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

TRIP COMPUTER IN A TD D8

Post by gumby6371 »

Just want to double check something, I've read in previous posts that the trip computer was never wired up to work in diesel models.

However my quetion is why do I have all the kit in my GLX 1.9 TD if it was never actually meant to work ?

Am I just being a bit thick ? Why fit the stalk with the trip button on the end etc... if it wont work

I would imagine a previous owner had a go at connecting it up.
The main downfall is that you only get live fuel data from the bosch petrol ecu :(
