Tubby intercooler replacement

Post by mjb »

Thinking of starting to tackle this tonight... Anyone know how?

Is it a bumper-off job, or can I get to it from the inside?

If memory serves you won't need to touch the bumper; if you drop the rad out there should be enough room to fiddle it out. At least that's how it worked out when I changed one of the cooling fans!

Why do you think I've not been around at evenings and weekends recently?

Nevertheless, I'm going to attack this tubby this evening... Got a new PAS pipe and pump for my coupe, but dad's tubby's hogging the garage, so I need to hurry up and get the damn thing out so I can work on my baby

New intercooler, hoses and valves, so hopefully it should soon have a bit of boost to it!

(when I say "new", I mean "2nd hand". Not made of money...)
