Speedo intermittent

Hi All

For the last week my speedo has stopped working every now and again when it stops feels like there is a jolt in the power but then all back to normal but speedo stil not working, but give it 5 minutes it will start working again anyone got any ideas.

its the little black box of tricks hidden behind the glovebox starting to fail,
it is about 35 quid from the stealers for a new one iirc,

if you have a search on here for the problem im pretty sure there is even a part number posted somewhere in one of the threads.

very common problem, and a fairly easy fix from what i can gather.

I didn't think D9s had the interface. Could be the transponder on the 'box or bad connection in the dash.

Do you mean the connection into the actual dials itself

Maybe but 406 dials seem to have an annoying amount of dry joints on the board themselves.

Hi yeh sorry forgot to mention it was an HDI 110 2.0
