Oh arse, I've had a crash :(

Discuss the 406's Bodywork stuff in here (what parts fit what, what can be interchanged with what etc etc).

Totally the fault of "Man" there, though you shouldn't call him that considering he drives a Getz (he should have handed in his Man Card upon collecting the keys at the dealership - seriously).

Coming off a roundabout when on the right lane, you should leave the roundabout on the right lane, and then move to the left lane as soon as it is clear and safe to do so.

He can't claim he didn't see you (unless he's prepared to admit he wasn't actually looking), because the 406 is a bigger car than his.

That should have been claimed off of his insurance, or at least off the balance of his bank - you shouldn't be paying for the cost of a new/reconditioned door when his little piss-pile has been the cause of the issue.

I Agree with Mr. Welly

By the looks of the diagram, the other guy was at fault. Lol no wonder he was so quick to be nice about it, he knew he was at fault. But at least not going through the insurance companies you are saving the chance of them writing yours off, which judging by the damage and, unfortunate to say, the market value of the 406 at the moment any insurance company would be very quick to send it to the big scrap-heap in the sky :(

everybody on here seems to be on my side but elsewhere ive had rather mixed responses. a lot of people have been saying that he had right of way if he was already on the roundabout - which he was - but maintain that by being on the inside lane he left the outside lane (my lane) free for me to drive into, and he shouldnt have moved over without observing that i was there.

somebody who's a policeman would be able to help me, but theyd be a bit suspicious if i rang up with a question that began with "say, hypothetically, that a person in a 406 was in the left hand lane..."
