Can people give me there ideas on nice 18's for a 406 and do people lower them on coilovers or just a spring set up? My car is in members cars.

Doubt many people on here have experience of coilovers for their 406's as the cheapest I could find were £550 and would think that makes them an unfeasible option at that price.
However, if you can afford them, plan on keeping the car for a while, and your current suspension could do with changing, then why not.

So people just put springs in instead?

I've got -40mm springs on mine and it toally changes the feel of the car. Got them off eBay for about £30 or so. What sort of wheels you want is totally down to personal choice. I personally would love a set of 18" deep dish BBS split rims, or maybe a set of the Dotz Roadster with the grey centres as that's the style which I think works best with what I've done to my car and compliments the colour. I'll stick with my 17's until a set comes up cheap enough though.
