fuel supply/starvation

'having trouble with fuel supply.
bulb is not full and hard when squeezed and having starvation probs.

I need help ! was okay just started last few days , new filter fitted last week

have you checked there is not a seal issue round the filter housing?
checked for cracks on housing and supply lines?

it seems too coincidental that a new filter went on last week and now you have air getting into the system allowing the diesel to drain back giving the the less than tumescent bulb, did you do the filter yourself or was it a garage?

no air appears in the system , bulb is almost flat as though there is a suction? ,filter housing is fine
is there a pump in the tank? does that have a filter?

i did the filter , exactly same as on the 306

There is no pump in the tank but there is a gauze filter on the pick up. Do a search, there was a topic recently whereby several people found theirs to be clogged with gunk. I checked mine and found it to be spotless, but it seems worth a look.

Short version, you remove the back seats and unscrew the plastic tank cover. It's more tricky than that though, so dig out the topic for more details
