Hi Guys, am brand new here but not new to forums... mostly bike forums... jist wantin tae say Hello,, jist tonite ave went an bought a pug 2ltr hdi rapier. please tell me its a good motor.. as ave been a vw passat man fur a while... its a V reg 2000, 116k miles on it, burgandy an a good looker, everything works, a think its the 90 horse one,,, ma pal has a 110 an he says he pays the cheap tax 68 squid 6 months,, I need tax fur this but i think its its 112 squid,, hows that.. his is a 52 plate... anyway, am looking forward tae readin uup on some threads an posting some stuff........ so if theres any Scottish boys localy,, please say hi.. am in motherwell.... 15 east o Glasgow.......... cheers. afk

im not entirely sure about your mates motor but mine is a 2000 "w" reg 90 HDi and it cost 185/200 ish quid last year for 12 month AFAIK, now im living in Poland this year but will still need to renew my Tax if i want to stay legal or return to the uk at any time with mine.

The 90 HDi is a cracking motor, dont let the D8 boys scare you with their fear of all things Electronic the HDi lump in mine has plodded on quite happily with minimal interference from the spanners and gives great MPG, upto 74mpg on a conservative run and never less than 50 odd mpg even round town, which is bloody awesome for such a weighty car, just dont expect to win too many drag races unless your racing snails

you have just reminded me that i should check the dvla website and see if they have sent me a reminder yet, the only way for me to re-tax now will be online, the commute to the post office would be a killer
