Replacing PAS Pump

Post by Badgerpoo »

I need to replace my PAS Pump, and would like to do it as cheaply as possible. I have found a couple of candidates on Ebay, but how do I ensure I get the right one. I have a D8 V6, but will the newer pump fit?

406 D8 - 4007R0 POWER STRG PUMP - INJECTION ES9J4 AND VARIABLE POWER STEERING
406 D9 - 4007R0 POWER STRG PUMP - INJECTION ES9J4 AND VARIABLE POWER STEERING & INJECTION ES9J4S AND VARIABLE POWER STEERING

That looks like a yes.

Also 607 Z8 ES9J4S has the same pump.
