I must admit at the moment when the oil sump is probably 20+ deg C at the end of a day then I'm a lot less anal about it but on a freezing morn........
I remember an ex-collegue's work place bought two brand-new Nissan Almera petrols years back and they were handed over to two very different people. One would wheel-spin out of the car park and the other treated it like a puff......the mercilessly and horibly thrashed car was much, much better for it
